| Conductive Kegs |
|
Surface
resistivity
Mankind
has known the catastrophic effects of static
electricity since it witnessed the first
bolt of lightning; the effects of static
are a common part of everyday life. Within
today’s industry however, it can lead
to both handling and production problems.
CurTec recently developed a number of conductive
kegs to suit any storage, transit or handling
application which requires a surface resistivity The
kegs will maintain their conductive and resistive
properties during storage, transit, distribution
or application. Four volumes: 6, 26, 55 and
75 litre.
The 6 and 26 litre keg are UN-X approved for solids and pastes.

| UV-safe Kegs |
|
Protection
within the 200-400 nm range
Some
products used in the chemical industry such
as fertiliser polymers and photo chemicals
as well as many nutrients and pharmaceuticals
undergo degradation when exposed to UV light.
Possible types of degradation are change of
colour, odor, taste and loss of physical properties.
Natural polyethylene 15 virtual ly transparent
to UV-light. This means that products. which
are packed in regu lar kegs, are hardly protected
against radiation unless special measures are
taken. CurTec has developed a range of UV-light
safe black kegs that ensure protection of the
contents from the effects of UV-light within
the 200-400 nm range. Four volumes: 6, 15,
26 and 55 litre. All UV-safe kegs are UN-X
approved for solids and pastes.
|
